Grey Heron
Ardea cinerea (Ardeidae)
A mostly and white, long-legged with a very long neck the Grey Heron is a well known fish catching bird that is seen throughout Britain.
Grey Herons stand very still or stalk through rivers and along the sea shore looking for fish, then strike with their dagger like, yellow beak to catch a fish.
When sheltering the draw their long neck in and looked hunched.
